By the 1960s, trampolines became popular recreational equipment worldwide.

Second Period: First Outdoor Trampoline Parks (1959–1960)

The first commercial trampoline parks appeared in North America around 1959–1960.

These early parks were: mostly outdoor, simple in design, focused purely on jumping.

However, they declined quickly due to: high accident rates, limited safety measures, lack of structured management.

Third Period: Decline of Commercial Parks (1970s–1990s)

After the initial boom, trampoline parks nearly disappeared.

Trampolining continued mainly as: a competitive sport, a school or gym activity.

This period lacked commercial innovation, but it laid the groundwork for safer and more structured trampoline use.
